The AP342APF-WWL68Z is a four blade propeller for use on the Rotax 915 series of engine. Its configuration is Anti-clockwise/Pusher with eaither the addition of a Feathering facility, Reversing or Prerotation function.
The performance gain from the constant speed hub, combined with the outstanding design of the Whirlwind Z series blade, allows this propeller to perform over a very wide range of speeds.
It is particularly useful for low – medium speed pusher applications utilising the Rotax 915 engine, where takeoff performance is very important. Examples are gyrocopters and amphibious aircraft using around 130-140 hp. The 4th blade has been added as an effective way to deliver the extra HP (over the 100hp 912) within the limited diameter range available on Gyro and Amphibious aircraft.

FEATURES
Precision Hub Mechanism
At the heart of each Airmaster propeller is a high-quality hub mechanism. The single piece hub shell and steel retention parts ensure the hub is lightweight and strong. The high-quality aerospace materials used throughout the hub ensure a long life with superior fatigue resistance.
High strength single piece shell
Precision pitch change mechanism
Durable steel retention components
Fast and reliable electric PC motor
Simple Operation
The Airmaster propeller is extremely simple to operate thanks to the AC200 control system. The automatic management of the engine rpm is essential in reducing pilot workload during the critical phases of flight like landing and taking off.
Easy selection of engine speeds for Takeoff, Climb, and Cruise
Flexible speed selection using Hold function
Precise speed regulation from solid state governor
Clear pilot feedback of propeller operation
Semi-automatic ‘Feather’ function
High Aerodynamic Performance
Airmaster propellers offer exceptional performance and durability with a wide range of blade options. The high-temperature cure prepreg carbon technology ensures an exceptionally stiff, lightweight blade. This increased strength allows thinner sections and more complex shapes to be formed resulting in higher efficiencies, over a wider speed range.
The WWL70Z blade from Whirlwind (USA) offers many features useful to modern Rotax powered aircraft.
Modern aerodynamic design ensuring high cruise speeds
Large 69in diameter for improved low-speed thrust in pusher aircraft
Strong and lightweight hollow carbon construction
High gloss natural carbon finish with white tips gives good looks and long life
Tapered blade tip giving quiet and efficient operation
Fully shaped nickel leading edge protecting the leading edge
Easy installation
The installation of the propeller is very straightforward and is designed to be accomplished in a short time by any competent layperson. Included is a very comprehensive operators manual and propeller log book. The propeller comes pre-lubricated and statically balanced with all the necessary hardware supplied.
